Patrick Murphy: Racing Number 512A

Seven year old Patrick is starting his second season of drag racing at West Michigan Sand Drags in Mears, Michigan.  The racing strip is a 300 foot long sand drag strip.  It is home to some of the worlds fastest sand drag cars, trucks, and quads.  Patrick finished a respectful 11th place in the season point standings in the midget class, during his first year of racing.  It is Patrick's goal to finish in the top 10 this year or better.  "Racing is tough but it is not where I will or loose, its just about having fun with my dad Patrick Murphy Sr."
